Ceiling Tile Cleaning

Flame Sorb is a colorless, non-toxic, non-corrosive, non-irritating aqueous liquid used to perform flame retardant treatment on most synthetic and blended textiles as well as natural fibers, including leather. It can be used to treat wood and other fibrous materials. The solution has no effect on the color of most treated materials. After drying, it is resistant to normal " wear and tear " or dry cleaning with non-aqueous cleaning materials.

Treatment of in-place materials is usually accomplished by spraying, but brushing or soaking methods are sometimes used. Applications are made to fabrics and interiors of residences, commercial buildings, hotels, aircraft, passenger vehicles and vessels. It does not affect the drape, strength, colorfastness, feel, or appearance of the treated fabrics. Once a fabric is treated, it should be allowed to dry between 6 and 24 hours, depending upon temperature, ventilation and humidity.

The cost is $50.00/gallon, with a minimum order of 5 gallons, plus shipping and handling. We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover) for the initial order, and would be glad to initiate an open account for any subsequent orders.

The solution is ready-to-use, requires no mixing, and each gallon is capable of treating approximately 500 square feet of material. Application can be via airless compressor, or any other fine-mist spray-type applicator, depending on the quantity of material to be treated.

The Flame Sorb formula passed:

  • UL 214
  • California Fire Code Title 19 Paragraph 1237.1
  • New York City Fire Code 1940 Paragraph
